What happens if my reservation is rejected because the boat I chose is not available?

If your booking request is rejected for any reason, you can send a message or to see if the owner of the boat is open to alternative options. Generally, owners will reject inquiries due to unavailability. If you are flexible with your dates, you can increase the chances that you and the boat owner can figure something out.

You can also search for other options and navigate by inquiring with other owners. Remember, there is nothing wrong with submitting multiple inquiries when looking for an adventure on the water.

What happens when I book and pay my reservation?

When you made a boat reservation from one of our owner's affiliated, you will only pay the amount corresponding to the 7.5% deposit of the total reservation will be charged to your credit or debit card first. It is also important to carefully read the offer and the messages that the owner sends you. Some owners will indicate that there may be additional payments required to be paid on arrival that are not included in the reservation price. These payments may include captain and crew fees, fuel, cleaning fees, and tips.

What is the service fee and what does it cover? adds a service fee costing 7.5% for boat renters. This allows us to process payments safely and smoothly, ensure fraud and identity protection, and provide excellent customer support when you need it.

If you use a currency that is not in USD, you may see an added amount after the currency conversion is done. Your total would be a service fee for the equivalent of that 7.5% at the exchange rate in your local currency.

How are deposits handled?

How does the tipping issue work?

As with most service-related industries, tips are up to you. It should be noted that for boat rentals, it is usualy to tip 10% to 20%. While the ship's captain is responsible for providing a safe ride and navigating the waters with ease, he also provides you with an experience and service. It is up to you as a customer to decide what you want to tip.

Tipping must be handled by paying the captain or owner in cash and in person. currently does not have a way to add a post-tip reservation. We hope to add this feature in the future.

Can I pay the reservation charge outside of the platform?

No, the booking transaction must be kept on the platform

Attempts to exit the platform by either party may result in temporary or permanent account suspension. That includes offers to pay for the reservation in cash or only pay a portion of the reservation through and the remainder will be paid directly to the owner.

When customers and owners leave our platform for payment, cannot provide identity verification and additional security measures, refunds, fraud prevention, and customer service assistance. Clients assume all risks by avoiding the payment system.
